Piëdestal vzw / asbl is a non profit organization founded in 2022 focussed on helping young artists present their arts and creations to the general public. 

The association tries to support young artists in the development of their artistic practice and in finding their own way in the art world. 

This free support is offered to artists taking their first steps in professional life. 

Piëdestal vzw /asbl wants to support interesting cultural activities and creations by promoting, showing and spreading them in Belgium and abroad. 

Young contemporary artists are given the opportunity to sell their work for free. 

In addition, this non-profit organisation turns to new media and channels to achieve its goals, including digital media and physical and digital exhibitions.

In this way, Piëdestal vzw / asbl seeks to bring together both the general public and a national and international specialised audience to promote the cultural influence of our local Belgian communities. 

In 2022, the organization appointed Seppe De Roo as the curator and organizer for the first exhibition ‘Sit Back, Relax & Enjoy the Apocalypse’.
